What is your dream role and why?

The role of my dream is Amneris from Verdi’s Aida. Amneris is characterized in music as a deeply feeling, strong -wiled, suffering woman-melodic phrases of wide breathing appear in her part. One day I will sing this role and I will bring something special to it with my ability to convey all the colors of her soul.
At the moment, while I am very young, I also dream of singing Carmen, Isabella from the “Italiana in Algeri” and other roles from Rossini's operas. Also I am very interested in roles in baroque operas.

Who is your favourite singer and why?

From the singers of the past, my favorite singer is Elena Obraztsova. Among contemporary mezzo sopranos, I like Anita Rachvelishvili and Elina Garancha. Each of them has a unique voice, charisma, and an incredible energy.

What to you hope to achieve by participating in the Queen Sonja International Music Competition?

I am participating in the Queen Sonja International Music Competition to win it.

What kind of demands to you believe the future’s opera singers must fulfill to make a career?

All opera singers must be smart, erudite and intelligent.
It is necessary to have a good memory, be educated in other areas of the arts.
But the most importantly singers must have an incredible passion for singing.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us, which might be interesting to the public?

I have been always singing since childhood, but since I was 6 years old, I dreamed of becoming a concert pianist. When I started to play piano, I was approximately 9 months old and as I see from family photos and videos it was totally my decision. I am so grateful to my mother for music education at such an early age. I was preparing very emphatically for a pianist career, but at the same time I also studied singing.
Later I graduated from a music college in two specialties - piano and opera singing. After that I got my master's degree in opera singing. Besides music I am fond of horse riding.
