Karl-Magnus Fredriksson is a Swedish baritone who has been a Lied, oratorio, concert and opera singer since 1991. He has performed with many of the leading orchestras and conductors in the world and is a frequent guest in the Nordic countries. Karl-Magnus Fredriksson has performed numerous times on television and radio and has participated in traditional music programmes as well as in productions of contemporary music. In 2004, he was appointed Royal Court Singer to the Swedish royal family.

Helene Gjerris is a professor and Head of Department, Voice, at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. Prior to this, she was a professor of singing at the Academy of Music in Southern Denmark for a number of years. Helene Gjerris graduated in Copenhagen and made her debut in the academy's soloist class in 1997. She was given the role of Carmen by the Danish National Opera a few years later and has since enjoyed a career as an opera and concert soloist with a broad music repertoire ranging from the early Baroque period to present day.
Mona Julsrud studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Opera School at the Royal College of Music in London. She has been one of the most sought-after concert singers in Norway for almost three decades, with a repertoire that spans from early baroque to contemporary. She has performed at festivals all over the world and under conductors such as Frans Bruggen, Philip Herreweghe and Fabio Biondi. Julsrud is a professor of singing at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo.
Toril Carlsen has performed over 70 different roles since she joined the Norwegian Opera in 1979 as one of the youngest singers ever. As a versatile singer, her repertoire covers opera, oratorios, romance and contemporary music. In addition to her career as an artist, Carlsen teaches at the Academy of Opera in Oslo, the Barratt Due Institute of Music and Lidal North International Opera Workshop. She is also an active and engaged member of several councils and boards. Toril has been a part of the competition’s screening jury for a number of years.
