Opera Gala concert Moscow
The Queen Sonja International Music Competition, in collaboration with The Bolshoi Theatre, presented a selection of the finest young singers of today, in an Opera Gala concert at The Bolshoi Theatre Sunday 12 November 2017.
The collaboration between The Queen Sonja International Music Competition and the Bolshoi Theatre is part of the Competition's international focus and a further development of our cooperation with the Bolshoi Theatre.
The soloists who had the opportunity to sing at the renowned opera scene in Moscow were four of this year's finalists, the best Norwegian participant of this year, one previous prizewinner and two representatives from opera academies:
Seungju Bahg, First Prize winner 2017 (tenor, South Korea)
Giovanni Sebastiano Sala, Second Prize winner 2017 (tenor, Italy)
Alexander Roslavets, Third Prize winner 2017 (bass, Belarus)
Ruslana Koval, Finalist Prize winner 2017 (soprano, Ukraine)
Christian Valle, winner of the Ingrid Bjoner Scholarship 2017 (bass-baritone, Norway)
Elsa Dreisig, Second Prize winner 2015 (soprano, Denmark/France)
Alina Adamski, Salzburg Young Singers Project 2017 (soprano, Poland)
Rihab Chaieb, Lindemann Young Artists Program (mezzo-soprano, Canada/Tunisia)
