The Queen Sonja International Music Competition is a supporting competition that aims to provide career opportunities for young singers. When participating in the competition, you get the chance to connect with your future colleagues, influential figures within the opera world and new audiences. Start preparing your repertoire for the competition and apply within 1 April 2023.

Through exposure to casting directors, masterclasses with award-winning professionals, career development sessions with industry representatives, concert engagements and considerable cash prizes, participation in the Queen Sonja International Music Competition offers young singers a valuable kick-start to their careers.
